Google Docs - are these good or what?
Year 8 have been using Google Docs to help them with their Internet Research Project. I think GoogleDocs are cool; what do you think? IF cool - why? If uncool, what’s the problem with them? Can you think of other subjects where they could be helpful, or other topics in ICT where they would have helped in Key Stage 3? Add your thoughts - use your digital brain email as the email address and don’t forget to use your username not your real name, please.

I like Google docs because they let you have a computer to yourself whilst working and I HATE sharing a computer!!
I think they took AGES to set up though - would it be easier and quicker next time now you have a login already? I hope so!
Oh, and tables in google docs really DON’T rock - won’t be doing that again!

i think google docs are v.cool but some things take a while to load up on the other peoples computer. It took ages to set up and was confusin but in the end it was worth it. luv haz.xxxxxxx

I THINK GOOGLE DOCS IS ALRIGHT. I LIKE IT BECAUSE WE GET TO WORK WITH OTHER PEOPLE BUT I DISLIKE IT BECAUSE IT KEEPS GETTING RID OF STUFF AND SO ON!!

I think that google docs is ok but it gets really anoying when people keep changing what u have put down e.g changing it completely deleting it changing the colour but then it is quite good because its something that you can work on i a group but not have to share a copmuter which is really anoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like google docs but the table is really annoying and settin it up wit the hole email thing was a bit wierd aswel.I think google docs are gd aswel coz u can du ur work frm skool at home!!! ~xXx~

I think it is good but sometimes it can get fustrating when there are three of you trying to write in different colours.

google docs is great!! it is useful because you can do the same work and not have to share a computer.it is slightly annoying when you work on the same bit and it ignores you.

I found Google docs REALLY annoying at first, because my computer wouldn’t get onto it, just said ” This page cannot be displayed”
I did manage to get on it in the end and it looks good, lets you work in the web browser like in a normal Word or Excel document.
It would be better if you could download your work in a word or excel document - for example if your internet is down or if you don’t have internet, you could still work on it in one of the programs in your computer.

i think google docs is good because you can work with other ‘peeps’ on a project and be updated on what they have added WHILST you are working on it as well.

i think that google docs was very helpful because you can use it at thire same time as other people so that they can help you if you get stuck. it also takes along time to load somethings and i think it is cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Google Docs is a great way of sharing your work with another person. And a great way of storing a file online.

i think google docs is a great way to store your ideas online so that other people can see them. I sometimes find it a bit slow. I think it could have a few more tools but the ones its got are alright

I think google docs is cool and is very useful because you can work on something at school and at home. its also good because if you work with people it pops up on their screen aswell but it also took a long time to set up and got confusing sometimes.

I liked google docs because your partner dosen,t have to work with you and they can still catch up on the work without having to find out your password.

I think google docs is useful for because you can edit stuff over the web with other people. It is simple to use and easy to get your text into google docs. It is also good because more than one person can be editing the same doc at the same time.

I think google docs is good for sharing work without being on the same computer as your partner and also if they are away you can still carry on with the work you were doing.

i think google docs is useful if you want to work in a group but have your own computer. also, you can do twice as much work with google docs because your on different computers. putting tables on the google docs didnt look very good because they were out of proportion and you couldnt adjust the table. although, at the end it was quite good!!!!!

google docs is useful if you want to work in a pair or group but can’t speak to each other.it is good that it save your work automatic.

Its easier then moving about the classroom,
+ Someone could be working in the centre,
Whereas their partner might be working in Mrs Browns room
So its alot easier then moving to different places,
Its quite difficult at first,
But then gets easier

Google docs is really good but i did forgett my password.
