End of KS3 Review
Now that you have finished your Yrs 7-9, I want to know:
What is the BEST thing you have done in ICT in the past 3 yrs? Why did you like it so much?
What is the WORST thing you have done in ICT in the past 3 yrs? Why did you hate it so much?
Have you chosen ICT or BCS for your options? Which? If you have, why have you chosen the subject? If you haven’t why not?

the best thing that i think i have done is the houses database, i liked this because it was quite easy to do. i think the worst thing i have done in the lst three years is the onscrean tests because i dont think they where layed out very good. i have chosen bcs and ict because i like working on computers.

The best thing i hve done in ICT over the past 3 years is probably learning how to use html because i didnt know how too before and now i can use it at home for stuff.
The worst things have been to do with databses. I hate it because its really boring and repetitive and just boring. I also didnt like the KS3 SATS because it wasnt helping my ICT skills at all and it ws repetitive and boring as well.
I havent taken ICT or BCS.
I nearly took ICT but it clashed with another subject which i really wanted to do.
I also wasnt sure if it would help me in the future.

the best thing in it tht i hav dun is probly i dno. the worst thing i hav dun is database cuz i fine tht realli hard. i hav chosen busines studies 4 nxt yr cuz i think it will help with wat i want 2 do in da futre

The best thing i did this year was HTML. The worst was the SATS
I am not taking ICT because it clashed with PE but i wanted to and wouldve if i could.

the best thing i have done this year is making the games beacause you could choose what you wanted and where you wanted to put it.
the worst thing i have done were the onscreen tests they were really hard and i didn’t ubderstand the questions.!!

the best things i’ve done in I.C.T have been making games on game maker and creating the shopping website. The worst thing i did was definately the I.C.T sats, because they were really hard. I have not chosen I.C.T or bussiness studies as one of my options because i don’t enjoy it very much and don’t find it particullarly easy.

The best thing we have done in IT is making our own websites on a made up shop, it was good as we went on programs that we’d never been on before. The worst thing we’ve done is making and planning a kitchen design as i found it boring and our finished designs didn’t look professional. I haven’t chosen IT as PE was in the same block, as i had to choose one of them i chose PE as it is my preferred subject.

The best thing I have done this year was game maker 6; because you got to choose your own images and design it differently I added more diamonds to click on.
the worst thing I had to was the on screen sats, the questions were really hard and we didn’t have enough time.
The thing that was hardest to pick up but will be most useful in the future is mail merge.

I fort ict in ks3, ws alryte, my favrite fings that weve dun has bin, wen we made shopping websites last year, Me n my friend did a website on shoes it was real good. My worst fing was kitchen designs coz i couldnt do them and i found it v. difficult to understand.
I am nt takin ict/bcs nxt year becuz i hav taken sumfink else wich intrests me mor & is sumfink i wud like 2 do in the futur, if i regret not takin it I wil do it in college.

I liked doing the websites the best. When we made a website about whatever we wanted eg Ourself. I enjoyed that the most because I found it easy.
The worst thing I thought we did was the spread sheets because i found them boring and we did the same sort of thing every lesson.
I am taking I.C.T as one of my option because I didn’t like any other options in that box but i do like I.C.T.

The best thing i have done in IT in the last 3years has been when we made our own websites in Y8. The worst thing i have done in IT in the last 3 years is the gamemaker, it was hard to understand and i didn’t really no what to do. I did not take IT or BCS for my options because there were other options i would rather do.

The best thing we did in the last 3 years was the designing of a kitchen. It was simple and fun. Plus we got to look at lots of shopping websites!
The worst thing were those timed test things. I never seemed to have enough time to finish the last task. Its so frustrating!!!!!!!
I have choosen BCS. I wanted to take ICT but i couldn’t because my regional volleyball coach suggested i take btec PE because it’s worth 2 GCSEs so i did that. But as i wanted to take something with computers i took BCS.

I think the best thing that I have done durning the KS3 years was the website design in year 8. I designed a website about designer watches and clocks. The worst thing I think was the kitchen project because it was very confusing and hard to do.
Yes I am taking ICT for my GCSE options because I would like to be a teacher when I am older and I have been told that I need to take a ICT test before I can go on the teaching course.

I liked doing the website the best as I found It something that I might be able to relate to in the future.
The worst thing I did was the game as I found it really hard to understand.
I’m not taking ICT as I really wanted to PE!

I think making the games was prob the most fun thing 2 do. i didnt like the databases and using microsoft access very much bcause it was really confusing :S!.!.! I have chosen BCS because i want to b able 2 understand business and that sort of stuff xxx

im not takin ict nxt year because i dont like it. the best thing was, ummm im not sure, the worst thing was probably the game maker because you cudnt play ur games and it was difficult to understand how to do it, the instructions were a bit boring and i kinda switched off after a lil while. the sats werent to bad, and its useful to hav sum guide line of how well ur doin.

the best thing i have done in ICT was when i was in y8 and we made r own website. the worst thing is database stuff in y9 cos it was difficult n borin! i have not taken ict or bcs cos i dont no wot i wanna do in the future and i wasnt sure if id like it in year 10 and there was other subjects i would find more useful

The best thing that I have done in ICT in my three years has deffinately been the Kitchen Project in Year7, I really enjoyed doing this because I like using ICT to complete projects. I didn’t partically like using Game Maker as my work partner an I found ithe programme quite hard to use.For my options I haven’t chosen BCS or I.T. I was going to take I.T but it clashed with P.E which is my favourite subject so I wanted to take P.E more than I.T, if I.T had of been im a different box I would of considered it.

This year i hav found ict ok not brilliant but i enjoyed the the logicator because it was challanging even though i couldnt do it. the bouring things were the estate agents and the game maker it was hard and i lost intrest after the first lesson. i hope i will do well in the gcse thing next year

the thing i found best in the last three years i think i think would be doing the game because i cant remember what i did in year 7 and 8 in ict.
the reason why i found the game fun was because it was chalanging.the first time and the seccong time that i completed the game it did not work.then when i looked closely at it i saw wat the problem was so i solved it and it worked.
the thing the i did not find very exiting was doing the houses database i did too much work on it and that made it very boring.but also it was very educating and i know how to do databases now for the future.

The best thing in the last 3 years was making the game. As it is fun and u get to see it working.
The worst thing in the the last 3 years was the databases and spreadsheets as it was a bit boring typing in all the data and searching through it, but it is also useful practice and learning.
I have chose both BCS and ICT becuz i like computers and like to work on them.

I thought the best thing we did was the kitchen design in year seven and the website making in year eight. I liked it because i thought the research was good. The worst thing we did was the estate agent database thing because it was really hard and boring and took about half of the year.
I havent choosen ict or bcs because i havent really ever liked it and find it boring although it is usefull, and also i prefer to do art.

The best thing I have done in ICT in the time I have had a t lacon was doing the kitchen design project.I liked researching about all of the different objects and items to put in the kitchen, and choosing them to fit in with different price ranges and different designs and colors. The thing I have found the most difficult was the estate agent database. I thought itwas really boring when we had to type up all of the information from cut outs of newspapers and add them to the database. I have chosen ICT in my options because it helps for my career choice and I wish to take ICT in college.

The best thing that i did in ICT is making the maze games. The worst thing i did in ICT has to be the onscreen sats, the logicater, having to write letters to families advertising holidays and all the data handling.
I have not chosen ICT or BCS next year because it Clashed with Art. I did think about taking ict because these days everything is envoled with computers. Another reason is because i’m not actually very good at it and i find it quite hard as well.

i have enjoyed ict i was goin to choose it for gcse bt it was in the same as pe. I didnt enjoy making spreadsheets but i enjoyed making the website. I also didnt like doin the exam practise. I dont know what the exam was like because i was away

in the past few years i have enjoyed using game maker. i enjoyed this because it was fun working on a projected with a good friend of mine!!!
the worst thing i have done was the sats tests i did not enjoy them at all !!!
no i have not taken itc or bcs next year!!!
